The Elvio Cogno Winery was formed by master winemaker Elvio and continues to produce wines that respect the family history. They maintain unaltered, traditions, and styles that express the grape varieties of the Langhe. Nascetta is an indigenous historical variety specifically from Novello. Fermented half in large cask and half in stainless – followed by six months on the lees. Minerally, wide and rich on the nose, offering yellow pulp fruit aromas and lemon and orange fruit with a fine texture. Mouthfeel is a balance and harmony of juiciness, lively freshness, and persistent savorieness and a hint of flint. A really captivating wine with great impact!
