Bodegas Valdemar has 130 years of history that began on a small, narrow track in the family's native town of Oyón. Today the fourth and fifth generation forge ahead in their eagerness to surprise and enchant consumers with novelties that offer that something personal, that distinguishing touch.
The Reserva ages 19 months in American oak (65%) and French oak (35%) barrels. Deep, bright cherry color with ruby shades. Graceful nose filled with aromas of mixed berries and cassis, along with touches of sweet spices, cocoa and toffee. Smooth and balanced palate with a long-lasting finish, full of elegance. Especially suitable for homemade stews, oven-baked or grilled meats, sausages, cured cheeses and/or an assortment of rice dishes.
