A year marked by a low yield since we lost half the harvest on the 6 April late at night. The wine is full of character with a fine fruity accent and an excellent aromatic definition. Exotic fruit notes like mango are remarkable but also a slight candied lemon flavour. The nose is floral with angelica notes. Typical from Château Guiraud, peppermint is also pronounced. The wine is precise to the mouth, offers a pleasant acidity flirting with a perfect balance. This is a great Sauternes as we enjoy making them!
