Chateau Thomas Laurent, owned and operated by the Lurton family, grows 13 hectares predominantly Merlot, rooted in clayey soil and sandy gravel. The property is located in Etauliers, north of Cotes de Blaye. Easy to enjoy, this is a classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc at every day value pricing. Attractive fruit driven nose, light tannins and a soft display of oak on the palate.
A soft wine, this is rather formless although it does have some attractive black fruits. It is juicy and ready to drink.
