The Loire Valley extends 600 miles from the Atlantic to the middle of France along the Loire River. It is France's most diverse wine region producing exemplary wines in every style--white, red, sparkling and sweet wines. Their characteristics are perfect for contemporary tastes--moderate alcohol, refreshing acidity, minerality, pure expression of varietal and terroir unmasked by oak, and to top it off excellent value. It is home to familiar grapes such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc, and Pinot Noir.
This is a refreshing dry style of bubbles produced organically from Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc and Grolleau. It ages for 12 months in the bottle. Elegant crisp and lively with notes of green apple, pears, white peach, lemon blossoms, followed by hints of hazelnut, pineapple and honey. Great finesse of bubbles. Very pretty and a seriously good value! Try it with pumpkin and pancetta risotto.
