Marcel and Yvonne Viallet have been working the vineyards of Savoie in the village of Apremont since 1966. Their son Philippe is the second-generation member who studied wine-making in Burgundy. Savoie lies in the French alps just 40 miles south of Geneva. This delightful red is a blend of Gamay and Mondeuse, a local grape varietal. Rich aromas of blackcurrant, spices, and touch of dried herbs. Round and smooth with a good length. easy-drinking country wine for everyday!
