Our 2019 vintage of Bear Track Vineyard Cabernet is a testament to the hillside terroir where it is grown. With the first swirl of the glass, the wine opens with aromas of blue and black fruit and subtle floral notes. On the palate, fruit flavors of blueberry, blackberry and black cassis pair with classic Napa Valley notes of sage and black olive tapenade. This is a wine that will continue to develop complexity and intrigue as it ages
With a plushness on the palate, this varietal wine offers spicy undertones of cedar, sage and oak, with woody tannin and thick, concentrated black fruit. Intense throughout, the berry richness is contrasted by flecks of iron and crushed rock. Enjoy 2029–2039.
Cellar Selection
Very expressive, with a rich, polished beam of cassis, violet, plum sauce and gently singed vanilla cruising through with quiet authority. Shows a solid bolt of graphite on the finish. Best from 2023.
